Reid, Abortions & Re-Elections

Peter Roff has an excellent opinion piece entitled "Abortion in Healthcare Bill Remains a Puzzle for Democrats—and GOP Opponents" in today's U.S. New & World Report in which he discusses both the re-election predicament that Reid is finding himself in with 52 % of citizens in Nevada not supporting his medical reform efforts and the debate about the inclusion of anti-abortion provision in the bill which is splitting the Democrats in the Senate.

I wonder if abortion isn't tied to stem cell research. As ugly as it sounds--it's all about money.

It seems like so many in power now are those with low moral conscience and so full of greed for money and power. Not all leaders--but, many.

It is disheartening to not have all of our leaders of high ethics, integrity and patriotic to the Constitution first and their own interests last. So many can be "bought."

God help us.
