Our challenge to you is to:
Come together on December 16th.
On the 16th we are asking Americans to hold a candlelight vigil concerning healthcare to wake up the United States Senate! We are asking that you go to your Senator's local office, between 5pm and 8pm, with candle or flashlight in hand.
Now is the time. We must be clear! If you can’t be at a Senator's office do it at your local medical center, park, or whatever works best for your area.
Contact Senatorial offices and tell them you are coming. Let them know you are going to stand up for patients, seniors, and all Americans. Give them the choice to participate with you. Go to www.congress.org and you will see "get involved." Put in your zip code and it will list your state and federal representatives with contact numbers and emails. Let your state law makers know too and ask them to help out.
One simple requirement to participate: everyone should bring a candle or flashlight.
CLICK HERE to see if there is an event planned in your area.
For an example event, click here to see what is being planned at Senator Feinstein's office in San Diego.
If there is not an event scheduled in your area FILL OUT THE BELOW FORM to get one started. The preferred location for the vigil is at your Senator's local office. If your Senators do not have a local office near you, consider holding one at another prominent and easily accessible location in your city (e.g. park, outside a hospital, etc.)
Visit your Senator's website to find their office location in your area.
Please email questions to info@takebackmedicine.com . Also if you are attending a vigil, we would like to have you call in to our live webcast on Wednesday. Please write us at info@takebackmedicine.com if you can call in.

This week on SECOND OPINION, the web radio show.....
Is there any "health" in the healthcare reform bills?
A former "Nader's Raider" says, 'not so much'.
We will have our regular Wed. evening webcast, so please join our special guest, Jim Turner, Chair of "Citizens for Health" talking about the role of alternative medicine and wellness in the current Senate and House healthcare reform bills.
He says if you're into acupuncture, or other things deemed "alternative" you may be left out of luck under health care reform plans in Congress. He'll explain why bills on the Hill will make it tougher to get the care and healing you really want....... And why it should cover things like vitamins, exercise equipment and others.
LISTEN TO LAST WEEKS' SHOW....WITH SPECIAL GUEST
He says the Senate shouldn't fall for the "doc trick" con that the House did....
