Putting Tyrants in Control of Health Care

If you like the health insurance coverage you have now, and if you believe patients should be allowed to make their own decisions about their medical care and insurance coverage, ObamaCare is not for you.
In addition to the fact that the supreme law of the land, our U.S. Constitution, does not authorize the government takeover of medicine, or government intrusion and meddling in the practice of medicine, ObamaCare will make medical care:
- Less affordable
- It will destroy innovation in the insurance market
- Less accountable to patients
- It will discriminate against those who believe in self-reliance and working hard to get ahead
- It will put our budget and economy on a path of unsustainable debt and destruction
ObamaCare incorporates an individual mandate for purchase of health insurance. In Massachusetts, the individual mandate caused an increase in premiums of up to 46% more than the national average. ObamaCare will create a new federal bureaucracy of unelected bureaucrats who will impose rigid price controls on health insurance premiums as a means of dealing with the expected increase in premiums the government takeover of medicine will cause. Price controls, however, always result in rationing and decreased access to whatever service or good is being price-controlled. And, when private insurers have been driven out of business, a so-called public option will be the only option.
ObamaCare will dictate what insurance coverage is acceptable to the government and what coverage is not acceptable. The ability of the insurance market to offer innovative coverage that individuals want at a competitive price will be thwarted.
Under ObamaCare, accountability to government bureaucrats will supersede accountability to individual patients. Unelected federal bureaucrats will decide what you can and cannot have in terms of medical care. We need look no further than the current system of socialized medicine for those 65 and over, known as Medicare, to appreciate what will occur under ObamaCare. Government price-fixing in the Medicare program has led to covert rationing of care for Medicare patients and poorer quality care. As a result of government impeding and obstructing nearly every aspect of the practice of medicine in the Medicare program, physicians and their office staff often spend more time complying with thousands of pages of ever-changing Medicare rules and regulations than they spend treating patients. And, the Medicare bureaucracy which runs the entire muddled “system” is incompetent to a degree which would shock most people. According to the government’s own GAO study, Medicare bureaucrats provide the wrong answer 96% of the time when physician offices call Medicare with questions about proper billing procedures.
ObamaCare will also mount a new assault on the American Dream of self-reliant people working hard and sacrificing to get ahead. ObamaCare will impose new taxes on unearned income which will result in the grubbing hand of the federal government reaching deeper into the pockets of citizens who worked hard and have saved for their future needs. No savings account or pension plan will be left behind, in government’s quest to confiscate and re-distribute wealth under ObamaCare.
ObamaCare will put our budget and economy on a course of unsustainable debt and ultimate destruction. ObamaCare proposes to pay for the government takeover of medicine with “savings” in Medicare and increased taxation. Proposing to help pay for the government takeover of medicine via money “saved” from a fraudulently financed Ponzi scheme, otherwise known as Medicare, which is already facing insolvency, is the height of irresponsible government. And, the limits of oppressive taxation are already apparent to many hard-working Americans.

ObamaCare’s proposed expansion of Medicaid will place a further intolerable burden on state budgets that are already strained to the limit. There simply is no more “state money” to pay for more unfunded federal mandates.
As social democrats trudge forward in utter arrogance to force citizens to accept a government takeover of medicine run by unelected government tyrants, those who cherish freedom and who still believe in upholding the U.S. Constitution as written, deserve better.

NO TO OBAMACARE. WE DO NOT WANT IT. WE WANT WHAT WE HAVE NOT WHAT THEY ARE TRYING TO DO TO US WITH GOVERNMENT RUN HEALTHCARE. THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT ELECTED TO RUN US AS THEY WANT. THEY CAN BE IMPEACHED. BUYING PEOPLE OFF IS ILLEGABLE AND WE WILL NOT STAND FOR IT.
Interesting that for the last 15 years the liberal hue and cry has been keep your hands off my body. Now the very same people want to have ultimate control over my body. The Federal government has overstepped its bounds and is now engaged in an assault on more than our healthcare. Now there is a careless disregard for the terms and conditions of our Constitution to seize power. The Nazi's started the same way. I would rather go to prison than pay one red cent to a communist dictatorship; even if it has the appearance of an elected government. Nancy Polisi an Harry Reed are nothing more than Stalinists who are intent on ruling as an elite class. They aren't even willing to be subject to the same care we have to buy. The people have been telling Obama in no uncertain terms for a year that we do not ant government controlled health care and in unprecedented numbers have taken to the streets of their towns and even a march on DC to demonstrate against this tyrannical government and still he persists in doing as he pleases. He is an elected official who serves at the pleasure of the American people and can be removed from office just as easily. We need for our congressmen and senators to have the courage to do the will of the people and not buckle under to this Chicago thugs and his minions.I pray the American people will see him for the marxist he is and will resist him to the death. He is intent on destroying our country.

It is very clear that 'We the People' do not want this government take over, but Obama and his cronies don't really care what we want. They disregard us and our desires in their blindless grab for power. It is clear that this bill would BK the US.... and they don't care. If we are forced into BK it would set the stage for them to continue in their pursuit of a pure socialist country, which is really their goal. We must stand up. We must not allow this to occur. I will never, ever pay for this helthcare. Never. It is unconstitutional, to say the very least. If it does go, each individual state needs to begin standing firm on the 10th Amendment screaming that the states do not have to accept this blatant move that tramples the law of the land.... the Constitution.
BACK OFF OBAMA, WHY CAN'T YOU GET THE MESSAGE. We do not want your Health Care , why don't you fix the old programs government created instead of messing with the health care we choose to have. Why don't you take the time to read the constitution for a change and stay at home, get off the daily radio and airplanes and do your job. You were not elected to be a rock star. How many times do we have to tell you and your ego that we don't want the direction you are taking us, are you brain-dead and if so why don't you try our health plans. WE ARE THE FREE PEOPLE, YOU WORK FOR US AND WE HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE THAT.
There are billions of dollars in fraud and waste in Medicare every year and the government has no clue how to fix it. How do they have the nerve to try and pass this massive healthcare nightmare? Most Americans know this is the end of life as we know it if this catastrophe gets approved. Protect doctors from frivolous lawsuits. It's so easy to sue someone that many people have made a career out of suing. Why don't they fix one problem at a time? They can't because no one in Washington is capable of figuring out how to fix what's already broken. We must vote out all the idiots.
How in God's name did we get here? I blame myself and many others like me for not paying attention to matters of the government. WE are all taking a stand now thru tea parties and other groups we belong to. WETHE PEOPLE are totally against what is going on in OUR COUNTRY. The people who voted for this disgraceful UN-AMERICAN man and all the thugs he brought with should get on their knees and beg forgiveness for what they have done. These people are coming after our religion next.
You all are screaming that you arent going to put up with obama and where he is taking our country. Well, what are you going to do about it - just complain? If I knew how, and had the money, I wouldnt hesitate to start impeachment proceedings against him!! Quit complaining - if you arent willing to do something about it, dont complain because things are the way they are!!
I understand wanting to balance the budget,but they don't stop and think of ways to do this but,mess with our moneys. What gets me the most is Why? Are we paying for past Presidents ,salarys,pensions protection,private health insurances.When we retire we don't continue making the same salary for the rest of our lives. Also if this health care reform is so good Why? isn't everyone of the congress on it instead of their own plan,let them mess with their retirement plan and leave medcare alone we have paid in to it . I would rather have their plan,which they don't pay for........
When we win in November, which we will, we need to convey to the people we elect to replace this group of bolsheviks that we want obama impleached!!!!! No excuses. This needs done whether they pass health care or not. He will definitely need to be impeached if they do manage to pass health care, as he will thwart any efforts to repeal the law with the veto. The candidate I vote for will sign an agreement to do these things if they want my vote. I have had it with disingenuous politicians that seek power and wealth over the will of the people. We need to get back to what the founders envisioned for this country. In the mean time, we need to stop this bill. Call the people on the fence and people leaning toward obama care and remind them of how stupid they are if they fall on their swords for obama and pelosi.
I am beginning to honestly believe that this president is seriously mentally ill, with a most cunning, twisted and devious agenda. All he knows how to do is lie outright and project his very behavior onto his opponents, blatantly and on a daily basis. I am not saying this as hyperbole. By now it is my honest opinion. It is terrifying and destabilizing to the country; this administration and this congress appear to be willfully attempting to bring down this nation with debt, spending and overloading the system such that, if not stopped it will collapse. Is this the goal of a truly sick leader? I'm afraid so...and it must be stopped.
